Today I'll be giving you my tips
for how to cram/study for a test.
I would not recommend cramming, but
sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
First, gather all of your course materials in one place. Then, take a practice test. You can find one online in your textbook or write your own. Writing an exam can be another study technique to help you identify main ideas, and important details. The most important step in this process is to check your answers. That way you know which parts you don't know. Then, only study the parts you don't know. That way you're not wasting time.
Before studying, you should eat some carbs. That way your brain has some long-term fuel. It also helps to exercise. So that you're more alert and can stay awake. To stay awake for a late night study session have some ice water, or tea. Or coffee if you really need the caffeine. Make sure you don't have any energy drinks or alcohol.
Instead of a normal pomodoro, you'll want to study in intervals of 50 minutes of work followed by 10 minutes of break. Prioritize understanding and memorizing main ideas and other things you know will be on the test for sure. Make sure you're studying actively instead of passively. Something that's much more valuable than an all-nighter is to SLEEP! and hopefully you can sleep for at least 6 hours. I know that's not always possible, but try your best anyway. I hope you found this post helpful and good luck on any exam that you're studying for.
